So growing up, I've decided that self-disclosure can be a good thing, at least to the people who wanna embrace me for who I am. Without further ado, ... here's the pieces of me. For who I am & where I've been: MySpace.com The Facebook at Barry University All About Disney: Because I know y'all wanna know why Disney is such an important part of my life. Outside of Oahu, Hawaii & San Francisco, California where I grew up, Disney is my "home away from home." As cheesy as it sounds (no pun intended since my boss is a mouse), its always been a dream of mine to contribute back to the company that helped make my wishes become reality. So I've had the pleasure & fun of doing a vast amount in my five years here. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to realize, "I'm getting paid for something that in no way, shape, or form resembles a job." I've pillaged, plundered, rifeled and looted as a Pirate, skippered my way through some of the most dangerous rivers of the Jungle, been friends with & entertained a lot of characters, completed both an Advanced & Professional Internship with the Walt Disney World College Program, DJ-ed for Radio Disney, and have climbed forbidden mountains as a tour guide for Himalyian Tours & Expeditions. If you ask why I do what I do, here is a brief synopsis: "Fifty years ago, we dedicated a place: to all the castle-gazers and elephant pilots. To all princesses in training and unofficial Mouseketeers. To all the parents who remember and all the kids who are just finding out. To all who ever dreamed of space or that magic could be a place. To all who come to this happy place, welcome!" Where I'm going? Hopefully graduate school, to get my MBA at Rollins College. Then I'd like to get my doctorate at either College of William & Mary, maybe UCF. That's still remains undecided. I love school, I enjoy the process of learning, and I'd like to, if at all possible, get even another undergraduate degree. I'm thinking interior design, educational leadership, fashion design, maybe even history. Start to write my first book. Who knows? I tend to be adventurous, a little risky at times, and unpredictable. Just continue to live life to its fullest. Enjoy each moment as if it were my last. Take advantage of every opportunity. (try to) Live with no regrets. Upgrade my apartment to a home in Celebration. Adopt a cat, and maybe a dog, and a bird, and name them after some Star Wars characters. Spend time with family and friends, because that is so important. It is a gift, and I am blessed, to be surrounded by such amazing people. I love to embrace the "good things" in life. Make magical memories, because moments are only temporary, and memories last a lifetime. What I do? Classic Libra. Somehow I have a tendency to balance anything and everything thrown at me. Still haven't figured out how. If I did, I'd probably be the winner on the Apprentice with Donald Trump. But anywho, I'm just me. That's who I am. And if you have a problem with it, well just let me be. Because I embrace who I am, my own inner beauty, and just go with it. I have nothing to hide, and nothing to hold back. I'm secretly addicted to reality shows. I fall for love too fast. I like shopping (a little too much, I'll admit). Give me chocolate & I'll be your best friend. I set my goals, and I attain them. Definitely an overachiever. Don't just visualize, actualize! I stand up for what I believe in. I believe in my faith. I believe in things happening for a reason. And sometimes, you just gotta "Let Go, Let God." 1 Cor 13 is living proof, the story of my life. You'll almost always see me reading or writing, always listening to music, always wanting to be creative and express myself, always with a camera in hand ready to preserve the moment.
